For Pre-fall 2020, MONSE creative directors, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, drew inspiration from the late Hugh Hefner’s iconic personal style and menswear from the 1980’s. These influences were reinterpreted for the modern-day woman by combining deconstructed tailoring with fluid silhouettes and rich jewel-toned fabrics. The idea of power dressing was mixed with opulent nightwear, capturing the professional and personal aspects of her day to day life.
