MONSE Fall 2023 takes a few style cues from MONSE muses Tina Leung and Dorothy Wang. The close friends of Creative Directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia serve as an inspiration for the Fall collection as their street style embodies the very spirit of MONSE – edgy, daring, and unexpected. Punk influences are seen in unconventional leather pieces like ultra cropped jackets, criss cross mini skirts, and double belted bra tops. Accompanying the bold styles is the season’s principal “Still Life” print consisting of surreal interpretations of plants, wildlife, and a reimagined MONSE logo. The print is carried across silk tops and dresses, velvet silhouettes and versatile outerwear. Evening-wear such as slashed slip dresses, a corset detail gown with a matching pinstripe cocktail version and a crystal one shoulder mini dress round out a collection of New York City-approved attire that is fit for any occasion.
