Fall Winter 2017 Runway
Fall 2017 was the marking point of the first fashion show during New York Fashion Week in which designers, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, combined both Oscar de la Renta and Monse together during one show. Newly appointed creative directors for fashion house, Oscar de la Renta, both Kim and Garcia promised a "reveal" to divide both collections. Keeping true to signature looks, the label focused on shirting, twisted tailoring, off-the-shoulder jackets, and slashed dresses. The finale showcased sequined gowns that look like dripping paint, inspired by artist Pat Steir.
